In order to play team handball, you must have good fitness. In other words, you must be in good physical condition and keep your body in shape.[1] Team handball players do alot of conditioning to prepare themselves for a game. Team handball consists of intense activities such as running, sprinting, jumping, dribbling, passing, and shooting. All of these activities require players to have good physical performance skills.

  • An ability to produce large muscle power

  • A large fatigue resistance to reductions in rapid force generation

  • A satisfactory running capacity

Team handball players also have to do many types of physical conditioning.
