The Laws of Badminton [1][2]

 

Court

  • The lines should be yellow or white
  • The post should be 1.55 meters in height
  • THe net should be 760 mm in dept and 6.1 meters in width

Shuttle

  • The shuttle must have 16 fethers fixed in base
  • The shuttle should be between 62 mm to 70 mm
  • The shuttle should weight from 4.74 to 5.5 grams

Racket 

  • The racket shouldn't exceed beyond 680 mm (frame) and 230 mm (in length)

Toss

  • Before the game starts, a toss should occur so that the winning side can choose between servering first or recieving first.

Score( Scoring)

  • The first player to get 21 wins the game

Change of Ends

  • At the end of the first & second game and when a player in the third game has 11 points, the players should switch sides.
