Court Dimensions
- Measures 40 meters by 20 meters (44 yards by 22 yards)
Important Lines
- 4 meter line (Goalkeeper Restraining Line)
- 6 meter line (Goal Area)- This line is an arc that completely encloses the Goal Area.
- 7 meter line (Penalty Throw Line)
- 9 meter line (Free Throw Line)- This line is a dotted arc that encloses the area 9 meters from the goal.
- For more information on violations concerning these lines see the rules or officiating pages.
- All measurements are made from the center of the baseline.
Other Useful Information
- Team Handball is always played on hard surfaced courts.
- The goals are placed exactly between the two sidelines.
- The goal measures 3 meters wide by 2 meters high.

A picture of court is necessary. Also, please write in point form, not essay form and use headings when appropriate. There is no reference to this so you must add a footnote that your reference is citing in order for me to keep the content. If you do not have a reference I will have to delete all your work.
