Singles in Badminton! 

 

 

Strategies to keep in mind...

 

  • make sure to serve deep since the court is longer in singles than it is in doubles[1]
  • always make sure to return to the middle of your court so you're ready for the next hit
  • return the serves in places where your opponent is not standing so you can score more points
  • keep the opponent running around by hitting a variety of shots
  • be ready to move around a lot to get to the serves
